A bright, aromatic arabica with citrus and spice.
Bravo Excelsio is a light to medium roast of 100% arabica. Expect citrus and spice with real intensity, notes of kumquat and jasmine, and an earthy, nutty depth underneath. The blend won a Bronze medal at the 2014 Golden Bean competition in the milk based coffee category, so it holds its own in a latte.
It suits espresso, AeroPress, cold drip, filter and stovetop. Choose 250g, 500g or 1kg, as whole beans or ground to match your brewer.
Excelsio is the bright one in the Bravo espresso range. The light to medium roast leaves the citrus and jasmine intact, so it rewards a careful espresso or a pour over, and its Golden Bean medal shows it holds up under milk as well.

A blend mixes beans from more than one farm or country, balanced by the roaster so the cup tastes the same bag after bag. A single origin comes from one place, so it tastes distinctly of where it grew and shifts a little with each harvest.
This one is a blend.
Ground fresh on the day we dispatch, not pulled off a shelf. If you are between two, whole bean keeps best.
Ground to your chosen brew method on the day we dispatch.
Pick the brew method you actually use and we grind to match it: espresso, filter, plunger, stovetop or Turkish. Choose whole bean if you have a grinder at home, which will always give you the better cup.
We grind and dispatch on the same day rather than pulling a pre-ground bag off a shelf, so the coffee is as close to roast-fresh as mail order gets.
Keep the bag sealed and out of the light and it will hold up for roughly two to four weeks after opening. Whole beans hold longer than ground. Do not refrigerate it.
Yes. We run a prepaid twelve month coffee subscription: pay once, choose four coffees and how often you want them, and a kilo arrives on schedule for a year.
