Description
The classic Bodum french press, 1 litre, with a permanent double filter.
The Chambord is the press design most people picture when they hear french press, and it earns the position. Immersion brewing gives a bold, full bodied cup with very little skill required, which is why it survives in kitchens run by beginners and by people who have tried everything else.
The permanent double filter lets the aromatic oils and some micro grounds through, which is where the body comes from, and it means no paper filters to buy or bin. The borosilicate carafe sits in a steel frame, and the improved lid locks and pours without splashing.
